Barbara Edwards was born on June 26, 1960, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended the University of Southern California and was a member of the Sigma Chi Sorority. Edwards gained prominence as the Playmate of the Month in September 1983 and later named Playmate of the Year in 1984 for 'Playboy'. Following her success with Playboy, she pursued an acting career during the 1980s, appearing in low-budget films such as Malibu Express (1985), Terminal Entry (1987), and Another Chance (1989).
