The film explores a complex relationship between three characters: Rinku (Kurosawa), Iguchi (a photographer she counsels), and her husband Shigehiko. The story unfolds during Tokyo's rainy season, with Iguchi sending intimate photographs of Rinku through her skylight, leading to a series of unsettling events.
