April Telek (born April 29, 1975) is a Canadian actress raised on Vancouver's North Shore. She pursued modeling in Japan from 1989-1990, winning a Shiseido Cosmetics contract for Asia. In 1994, she won Miss Canada and represented her country internationally. Telek is best known for her role as Denise in the TV series 'George Lopez'. Notably, she bears a resemblance to actress Lucy Punch.
