Annette Frier, born January 22, 1974 in Cologne, Germany, is an actress and comedian. After completing her Abitur, she studied classical acting at 'Der Keller' theater school for three years and worked as a theater actress in Cologne. In 1997, she played in the RTL series 'Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast' and the thriller 'Post Mortem', which later became a series in 2007. She began her comedy career with Pro7's 'Switch' in 1998, also appearing in Sat.1's crime series 'SK Kölsch' from 1999 to 2001. From 2000 to 2002, she co-hosted the Wochenshow. Since 2004, Frier has been a regular on the improvisational comedy show Schillerstraße and has appeared in Sesamstraße (Sesame Street) since 2005. She hosted Stefan Raab's SSDSGPS in 2004 and Bundesvision Song Contest in 2005. In 2006, she won a Golden Romy for the best program idea for Schillerstraße. Frier has also played the starring role of Nora in a theater play at Theater im Bauturm in Cologne.
