Anne Bourguignon, known as Anémone, was a French actress born on August 9, 1950. She spent her childhood at Château Mauras and received education from various institutions before pursuing higher education at Paris-III University and then Paris-XI University. Anémone began her career in café-théâtre with the Splendid troupe and adopted her pseudonym from Philippe Garrel's film 'Anemone'. She gained prominence for roles like Thérèse in 'Le Père Noël est une junk', and starred in many comedies during the 1980s, including 'Ma Femme S'Appelle Reviens' and 'Pour Cent Briques, T'As Plus Rien'. She won a César Award for Best Actress in 1988 for her role in 'Le Grand Chemin'. Later roles included 'Les Bidochon' (1996) and 'Les Amours Secrètes' (2010). After announcing her retirement in 2017, Anémone died from lung cancer on April 30, 2019 at the age of 68.
