Amber Smith, born outside of the United States, began her career as a model at age 15 after winning an international modeling convention. She quickly established herself in Paris, working extensively and appearing on covers of prominent magazines like Vogue, Elle, Esquire, Maxim, and Playboy. Smith walked for Chanel and represented Loreal Cosmetics and Wonderbra in national campaigns. She was also named Sports Illustrated's swimwear model. After achieving success in modeling, Smith transitioned into acting, working with acclaimed directors such as Curtis Hanson, Abel Ferrara, Paul Mazursky, and Barbra Streisand. She appeared in Academy Award-winning films like L.A. Confidential (1997) and American Beauty (1999), as well as TV shows like Dame un respiro (1997) and Friends (1994). Smith also had a reality show pilot, 'The Amber Smith Project,' focusing on her efforts to open a modeling agency in Miami Beach.
