Amanda Michael Plummer, born March 23, 1957 in New York City to actor parents Tammy Grimes and Christopher Plummer, began her acting career on stage after attending Middlebury College and Neighborhood Playhouse acting classes. She won a Tony Award for her role as Sister Agnes in 'Agnes of God' (1982). Known for portraying distinctive characters such as Yolanda ('Pulp Fiction') and Alice Hackett ('L.A. Law'), Plummer's film roles have been described as 'spooky, kooky, half-mad.'
