Alisa Christensen was born on February 22, 1966, in Duluth, Minnesota. She is known for her roles as an actress and stuntwoman. In a tragic accident in 2002, she suffered severe burns over 40% of her body when her sleeping bag caught fire during a camping trip. Christensen survived the ordeal with third and fourth-degree burns and has undergone numerous surgeries to save her limbs. She wrote 'Gimp: Surviving Your Survival: A Memoir' detailing her recovery journey. By December 2009, she was serving as president of Portland Burn Survivors, Inc.
