Agnès Jaoui, born on October 19, 1964 in Antony, France, is an accomplished French actress, screenwriter, director, and singer of Tunisian Jewish descent. She won six César Awards, three Lumières Awards, and was nominated for an Academy Award. Raised in Paris by writer parents Hubert and Gyza Jaoui, she began acting at age 15, studying at Cours Florent. Early roles include Hôtel de France (1987) and Pinter's L'anniversaire with Jean-Pierre Bacri. Notably, Jaoui co-wrote Cuisine et dépendances (1992), Smoking/No Smoking (1993), Un air de famille (1996), Same Old Song (1997), Le Goût des autres (2000), Comme une image (2004), and Au bout du conte (2012). She directed five films, with Le Goût des autres attracting 4 million spectators and nominations at the Academy Awards. Jaoui's versatility spans various roles, including a challenging one in 'Je suis à vous tout de suite'.
