Story

In 1998, Isabel, a journalism student, arrives in Vigo, Pontevedra to complete her internship but is assigned the seemingly mundane task of writing and managing obituaries for the local newspaper. Her first day on the job brings an anonymous letter about a woman named Lucía, sparking her curiosity when she learns that the newspaper has been receiving this obituary annually for 15 years. Isabel investigates further and discovers that Gonzalo, the man responsible for sending these letters, lives near a cliff. Upon meeting Carlos, Gonzalo's son, she learns that Gonzalo recently passed away but agrees to help investigate Lucía's story together with Carlos. The investigation reveals that in 1958, a young Gonzalo traveled to Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz where he fell in love with Hernán's girlfriend, Lucía. Their affair was discovered by Hernán's sister Adela, who died accidentally while trying to expose them. Isabel and Carlos uncover the consequences of Adela's death and the ultimate fate of Lucía, which also impacts their own lives.
