She later acted in the Italian film 'Strangers', the German film 'Das Schweigen im Walde', and the miniseries 'A Man Called Intrepid'. After appearing in the 1979 science fiction film 'Alien 2, sulla terra', Mayne made her first significant appearance in American cinema with a role opposite Jaclyn Smith in the 1980 thriller 'Nightkill'. She then had a small part in the made-for-TV movie 'Death of a Centerfold: The Dorothy Stratten Story' as one of the women residing at 'The Mansion'. Mayne attempted to advance her career with an appearance in the science fiction classic 'Krull', but she soon returned to foreign films and relative obscurity in American cinema. Notably, in 1984's 'White Fire', Mayne has a head-turning role with several nude scenes revolving around her swimming pool."
