She studied at 'Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa' in Mexico City. Favela has siblings named Laura del Carmen, Mabel, Deborah, Alejandro, and had a brother Alain who passed away. Her notable role was as the love interest of Christian Meier in the telenovela Zorro.
