Mélanie Thierry began her career as a child and teen model in France before transitioning into acting. She appeared in several critically acclaimed French productions, including 'The Legend of 1900' at age 18. She also played Louise de Kérouaille in two episodes of the BBC series 'Charles II: The Power and The Passion'. Thierry made her Hollywood debut in 'Babylon A.D.' as Aurora.

Story
Set during the brutal Catholic-Protestant wars of 16th century France, 'La Princesse de Montpensier' follows Marie de Mezières who loves her cousin Henri de Guise but is forced into an arranged marriage with Philippe de Montpensier to advance her father's political ambitions. When Philippe leaves for battle, Marie remains at the Chabannes estate under the care of Count de Chabannes, where she becomes entangled in court intrigues.
