Full Biography
"While some dismiss them as B-movies, Mr. Skin insists these films are cinema's lifeblood. One notable figure circulating within this genre's passionate vein is Susan Almgren. She made her cinematic debut in 'Separate Vacations' (1986), offering viewers a distant, initial nude glimpse. Her filmography expanded to include titles like 'Shades of Love: Lilac Dream' (1987), 'Champagne Charlie' (1989), and 'Malarek' (1989). The B in B-movies often stands for more than just 'behind,' as Susan embraces showcasing her prominent assets; witness 'Twin Sisters' (1992) or the erotic thriller 'Deadly Surveillance' (1991), featuring a steamy shower scene with Christopher Bondy. It seemed Susan was transitioning to mainstream arthouse films when she secured a role alongside Nick Nolte in 'The Affliction' (1997). However, her exploitation roots resurfaced that same year with the lead role in the short-lived TV series revival, 'Lassie.' Despite these forays into broader roles, Susan's exploitation roots remain visible."
