Summary
Midnight Sun (2018) is a romantic drama directed by Scott Speer, based on the Japanese film of the same name. The story revolves around Katie, a sheltered teenage girl with a rare sunlight allergy who leads a nocturnal life due to her condition. When she meets Charlie at a train station one night and they begin a secret relationship, Katie experiences love and independence for the first time. However, their romance is put in jeopardy when Katie's overprotective father finds out about their meetings.
