Summary
Logan's Run, released in 1976 and directed by Michael Anderson, is based on William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson's novel of the same name. Set in a dystopian future where inhabitants live hedonistically within a domed city until their scheduled termination at age 30, the film explores themes of freedom, identity, and the human desire for longevity. The story follows Logan, a Sandman tasked with terminating runners, who becomes embroiled in a mission to infiltrate 'Sanctuary' outside the dome. Pursued by his friend Francis, Logan escapes the city with Jessica-6 and discovers the reality of their world.
