Las Vegas follows the professional and personal lives of employees at the fictional Montecito Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main character, Ed Deline (James Caan), initially served as the head of security before becoming the President of Operations after the death of the resort's owner. His right-hand man is Mike Cannon (Josh Duhamel), a former New York City cop turned casino executive who climbs up the ranks from security officer to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
