Story
In the town of Bailleul, near Lille, France, detective Pharaon De Winter lives with his mother and grapples with a gruesome case: an eleven-year-old girl has been raped and murdered. Over the course of a week, Pharaon investigates the crime while also coping with his own emotional turmoil, his face remaining nearly expressionless throughout. He engages in mundane activities like biking and gardening to cope, and even accompanies neighbors Joseph and Domino to dinner and the seaside. Meanwhile, Domino seems to use sex as a way of connecting with others, possibly including Pharaon himself.
