Bob Maconel, an office worker who struggles with misanthropy and mental health issues, plans a shooting spree at his workplace but hesitates to execute it. On the day he intended to carry out his plan, another colleague actually goes on a shooting rampage instead. Bob, however, emerges as a hero for attempting to stop the gunman. Ironically, the one colleague Bob liked, who happened to be injured during the incident, becomes paraplegic. Bob must now navigate his newfound status as a reluctant hero and help his injured friend find hope while also trying to find joy in life himself.
