Following a terrorist attack on a ferry in New Orleans, ATF agent Doug Carlin joins an experimental government program to find the bomber using advanced time-bending technology that allows him to observe events four days and six hours in the past. As he tracks the target's movements, Carlin realizes that the bomber is planning another attack, always staying precisely four days ahead of him. The story follows Carlin's race against time to identify and stop the bomber before another tragedy occurs.
Directed by Tony Scott, 'Déjà Vu' (2006) is a science fiction thriller that combines elements of action, crime, and suspense. Set in post-Katrina New Orleans, the film explores themes of time manipulation, fate, and perseverance as agent Carlin grapples with his ability to observe but not interact with the past. The movie's unique twist on the terrorist pursuit plot has been praised for its tense pacing and visual style.
